HFM (HF Markets) review

Forex

Africa-focused broker with genuine local regulation and a near-zero entry point.

Good for

African traders who value local (CMA Kenya / FSCA) oversight and tiny minimums.

Not for

Residents of the US, and traders needing the deepest crypto-CFD selection.

Fees, explained

The real cost of a trade is the spread plus any commission, plus funding and withdrawal fees, not just the headline number. According to HFM (HF Markets), spreads start from 0.0 pip. We separately measure the real average from a funded account at live session times; a figure marked "testing in progress" is one we have not finished measuring ourselves.

Fees and charges (HFM (HF Markets) published policy)

Deposit & withdrawal fees
HFM states it charges no deposit or withdrawal fees on its own side. Your own bank or payment processor can still charge a transfer fee.
Inactivity / dormant fee
HFM does not publish a clear dormant-account fee that we could verify; treat this as unconfirmed and tell readers to check HFM's current terms rather than stating a number.
Trading cost
The main cost is the spread. Published: Premium and Cent from 1.4 pip with no commission, Pro from 0.6 pip, Zero Spread from 0.0 pip plus a commission; all swap-free. We measured Premium EUR/USD at 2.7 pips (London session, 2026-09-07), wider than the advertised 1.4 pip.

Measuring Every figure on this page is one HFM (HF Markets) publishes itself, read on the date shown. The Fee Ledger does not run its own funded-account tests, so nothing here is presented as our own measurement.

Regulation & safety

HFM (HF Markets) operates under 6 regulatory licences: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus), FSCA (South Africa), CMA (Kenya), DFSA (Dubai), FSA (Seychelles). Regulation is not a guarantee against loss - leverage and volatility do the damage - but it tells you who you can complain to and how client funds are meant to be handled. Always trade with the entity that actually onboards your country.
